This class encourages first-time as well as more advanced painters. The art of mixing colors, recognizing the colors of nature, and creating the perspective of near and far, will be discussed as needed. Students will complete a painting on canvas, and are encouraged to bring subject matter of their own to paint. Class is $45 per session for non-members or $40 for DCAC members. The instructor will have 11 x 14 inch stretched canvases, and use of brushes, paints, palate plates, easels and paper towels on hand for a $5 supply fee each painting session or you can bring your own supplies.
