A visit to the Outer Banks would not be complete without experiencing one of the FREE Pickin’ on the Porch concerts in Historic Downtown Manteo! Come hear some of the best bluegrass and acoustic bands in the country with the quaint, coastal town setting of Manteo. Pickin’ on the Porch features a variety of music that ranges from Bluegrass, Celtic, Irish, Old Time and String Bands.

Held on select nights from May to October, the bands perform from the porch of the Bluegrass Island Trading Company. In the event of rain the event moves under the Magnolia Pavilion nearby. So join us for a fun night of music, food and fun making new friends and chatting with old ones as we listen to some Pickin’ on the Porch!

All shows start at 7:00 pm. Don’t forget to bring your chair, blankets and coolers. BBQ plates will be available for purchase onsite.
