Besides offering Exciting Boutique Shopping and Fine Dining year round, Scarborough Faire is proud to announce the third season of Faire Days Festival for 14 consecutive weeks throughout the Summer of 2013. Every Wednesday, starting May 29th and ending Aug 28th, from 1-6pm, you'll discover Food, Art, Imagination, Recreation & Entertainment for the entire family in the cool shade of our magnificent tree-lined Courtyard in the heart of Duck NC. Duck Summer Welcome Party
Weekly summer welcome party for OBX visitors from 6-8 p.m. each Wednesday from June 12-Aug. 7, at the Nags Head Hammocks store in Duck, 1212 Duck Road; (252) 261-1062. This event, free and open to the public, includes complimentary wine, beer and heavy hors d'oeuvres, plus family activities like cornhole games and live music (often to include steel drums!) in an atmosphere of relaxed OBX hospitality. Duck’s 9th Annual Fourth of July Parade
Duck's 4th of July Parade starts at 9 am on Thursday, July 4th and will be followed by a community social including live music, refreshments and awards at the Duck Town Park. The parade route is 1 mile, beginning on Scarborough Lane and continuing onto Ocean Way before turning down Christopher Drive and ending at Duck Road. Town parking is limited, so get there early to find a good viewing spot.
