Duck’s 9th Annual Fourth of July Parade
Duck's 4th of July Parade starts at 9 am on Thursday, July 4th and will be followed by a community social including live music, refreshments and awards at the Duck Town Park. The parade route is 1 mile, beginning on Scarborough Lane and continuing onto Ocean Way before turning down Christopher Drive and ending at Duck Road. Town parking is limited, so get there early to find a good viewing spot.

Fireworks will be provided by the Town of Manteo and the Music Concert will begin at the Outdoor Pavilion in Festival Park at 8 p.m. Pack up the lawn chairs, blankets and picnic and bring family and friends as the nation celebrates July 4th in the Outdoor Pavilion at Roanoke Island Festival Park. Fireworks will be provided by the Town of Manteo beginning at 9:30 p.m. A patriotic concert will begin at 8 p.m.

12th Annual OBX Sandbar 5K
12th Annual Sandbar 5K presented by Michelob Ultra. The Outer Banks only 5K Beach Run/Walk is set on the wide flat sands in front of the historic ‘Old Station’ public bath house in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. This charity event benefits the Outer Banks Relief Foundation which raises funds to help people on the Outer Banks with debilitating diseases and families in crisis.
