It’s that time again… the 6th Annual Town of Manteo Youth Fishing Tournament is Saturday, August 10th. The event is free and open to kids age 4 to 17 years old (16 & older must have a fishing license). Registration is at 8 am at the Roanoke Island Maritime Museum in downtown Manteo, 104 Fernando St. Fishing begins at 8:15 am. Awards will be presented at 11:45 am with a cookout to follow.

Inshore Slam Fishing Tournament
Bring the family out to the Manteo Waterfront and celebrate the Manteo Rotary Club’s 22nd annual tournament. They have held the popular “Rockfish Rodeo” for 16 years and reformatted the tournament in 2014 due to the decline in striper populations.
