Under the Oaks Arts Festival
Come and enjoy this annual 2-day outdoor art show on the waterfront grounds under the live oaks of Historic Corolla Park at Whalehead in Corolla. This festival features over 100 talented artists and artisans of all types along with local food concessions, a silent art auction, and activities for the kids. 10am - 5pm both days. Blackbeard’s Revenge 100
Blackbeard’s Revenge 100 Mile, 100 Mile Relay and 100 Kilometer are new point to point races from Corolla to Hatteras! Why the name “Revenge”, you ask? The Outer Banks are finicky. Temperatures could be 80 and they could be 30 degrees. Winds could be calm but will most likely be much higher. This course is flat, but it can also be lonely and seem never-ending at times. Corolla Festival of Fireworks
Celebrate America’s independence with free live music and a spectacular fireworks show on the northern Outer Banks! The 27th Annual Independence Day Celebration in Corolla offers an afternoon of fun family activities featuring food vendors, a cornhole tournament, watermelon eating contest, and children’s games.
