The 2013 Outer Banks Beach Music Festival features an impressive lineup of bands to take the stage live at the Whalehead Club in Corolla. Currituck Heritage Day
You are invited to a huge family-friendly party on the lawn of the Whalehead Club to experience the best of Currituck County’s cultural heritage with food and fun for all. Enjoy the award-winning CCHS Marching Knights, antique cars, kite flying demos, children's activities, and local arts & crafts booths. Pets on leashes are welcome. Currituck residents and homeowners are free. Others pay $10 for lunch and tour. Parking is free.

Under the Oaks Art Festival
Enjoy this annual outdoor art show on the waterfront grounds of Historic Corolla Park at Whalehead in Historic Corolla. This festival features the unique talents of over 100 quality artists with a wide variety of media plus local food concessions, art auction, and children’s activities. Admission is free! $5 parking donation requested to benefit the Whalehead Preservation Trust. Event runs 10am-6pm June 23 and 10am - 5pm on June 24, 2015.

Outer Banks Duathlon
The 6th Annual Outer Banks Duathlon is a challenging run, bike, run event welcoming participants of all ages and skill levels. The course takes you through the historic villages of Corolla, and is set-up against a challenging and fast double loop 28 mile bike ride through Northern Corolla which includes the historic Currituck Lighthouse and Whalehead club.

Mojo Collins at The Whalehead Club
Mojo Collins, a recipient of a prestigious NC Arts Council Fellowship in Songwriting, is a fourth generation North Carolinian songwriter, singer and guitarist. As a NC Blues and folk legend he performs extraordinary guitar mastery, in original folk, blues, r&b, ballads, jazz and classical/inspirational songs.
