The Outer Banks Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation invites you to the 26th Annual Surfrider Paddle Race! Test your ocean paddling speed and skills in one of several divisions for men, women, boys and girls including: Short Board, Long Board, Stand Up Paddle Board, Kayak, and the new Supsquatch. The course is 1 mile and 1/2 mile for kids, located at the Ocean Bay Blvd Beach Access (KDH Bath House) in Kill Devil Hills. Race time begins promptly at 10am with registration beginning at 9am. All entries receive a t-shirt and there will be prizes for the top 3 in each division plus raffle prizes including a long board from WRV. All proceeds benefit our education and scholarship fund providing scholarships to local high school seniors and go toward educating the public on important issues. Arrive early to find parking.
